Ecostar celebrates 40 years with $40,000 donation

To celebrate 40 years of operations, Victorian business Ecostar Double Glazing have donated $40,000 to support The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation.

Established in 1979, Ecostar have built a name for themselves as a leader in high quality UPVC double glazed windows and doors, providing services across Victoria. As they approached their 40th anniversary, the team wanted to take the opportunity to give back to the community, and launched an existing customer campaign to donate all profits from contracts between July and October 2019.

“We initially set a challenging target of reaching $20,000, however we later committed to go one step further and double the donation to $40,000 if we achieved the initial target,” said Craig Johnson, Managing Director of Ecostar Double Glazing.

“I am delighted that we managed to reach this target and donate $40,000 to the RCH to help support the fantastic work they have carried out for almost 150 years! We feel enormously proud to have been able to support such a worthy cause.”

Craig presented the donation cheque to Sue Hunt, Chief Executive Officer of the RCH Foundation, Ryan Brown, Director of Fundraising, and Kate Dear, Corporate Engagement Manager.

“Thank you so much to Ecostar and their customers for supporting the RCH Foundation. This generous donation will help the hospital provide the very best care to sick children and their families during the holiday season,” said Sue Hunt.
