Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) may well be the worst disease you’ve never heard of. A rare disease whereby the skin blisters and peels at the slightest touch, living with EB has been likened to living with third degree burns.

DEBRA Australia is dedicated to supporting EB sufferers and since 2014, the trust has funded an EB nurse at the RCH to improve and streamline patient care.

“EB nurse Lauren has made an enormous difference to our EB families. Sometimes it takes a special donation to kick start something new,” said DEBRA Australia board member David Hanvey.
