Viva Royal Children’s Hospital (VivaRCH) Auxiliary

Raising funds for the provision of pain management and distraction therapy.

Area: Inner Melbourne

The story so far

The VivaRCH Auxiliary volunteer team has been FUNdraising for the RCH since 2002. VivaRCH is a group of proactive professionals dedicated to donating time, energy and expertise to support and extend the RCH Auxiliaries’ volunteer network.

VivaRCH’s primary objective is to contribute to the development of pain management programs that help children and adolescents living with acute and chronic pain from serious injuries, long-term and life-threatening illnesses.

What we are working on

VivaRCH holds regular fundraising events including race day events, Friday night drinks, polo functions and fashion events to raise funds to support the pain management program and distraction therapy at the RCH. As a result of FUNdraising activities and initiatives, there are now dedicated pain management programs at the RCH for doctors, nurses, patients and their family and friends.
