Thank you for your support in 2022

As we approach the end of 2022, Sue Hunt AM, Chief Executive Officer wanted to share this message to thank you for supporting the RCH Foundation.

We are pleased to share the 2021/2022 edition of the Impact of Giving and our sincerest appreciation for all that you have helped make possible in the last year. As you will read, an incredible $45.5 million was raised in 2021/2022, supporting more than 200 life-changing projects and initiatives that will enable the RCH to continue to provide the very best care to patients and their families.

The past year has been one of change, challenge and growth, and we’re delighted to share the appointment of Richard Leder OAM as the new Chairman of the RCH Foundation Board.

Richard’s appointment follows the retirement of Peter Yates AM, who has been Chairman since 2012. We’re immensely grateful for Peter’s visionary leadership of the the RCH Foundation, including the establishment of granting and investment frameworks, and the funding of innovative and groundbreaking research, initiatives, chairs and centres of excellence, creating a lasting legacy for years to come. We are thrilled that Richard will build on his 24 years on the RCH Foundation Board to lead us into the future, bringing his exceptional knowledge and experience to help advance paediatric healthcare.

Together with your support, we look forward to working with our campus partners, the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, throughout 2023 to create a brighter future of children and young people.

In the meantime, I hope you and your loved ones have a very safe and happy festive season.
