ExxonMobil ChIPS in

Staff from ExxonMobil Australia have generously donated over $24,000 to support The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation.

Following an office relocation, residual items such as furniture, office storage and appliances were made available to staff who made an online goodwill donation to RCH per item.

Staff members who contributed toward the donation voted to support the hospital’s Chronic Illness Support Program (ChIPS).

ChIPS is a peer support and youth participation program for young people aged 12-25 with a primary diagnosis of a chronic illness.

A group of ExxonMobil Australia representatives and staff recently visited RCH to see the impact their donation had first hand.

Many of the staff who made a donation to RCH have a personal connection to the hospital.

“Since her birth, my daughter continues to be seen several times a year by the Allergy and Immunology clinic at The Royal Children’s Hospital. At each consult, we are amazed by the professionalism, care, warmth and dedication of all the hospital staff,” said ExxonMobil Australia Production Engineer Ben.
