Auxiliaries contribute to 2022 Good Friday Appeal

In their 100th anniversary year, The RCH Auxiliaries have raised an impressive $1,052,255 for the 2022 Good Friday Appeal!

The Good Friday Appeal reached a record-breaking total of over $22 million, thanks to the generous Victorian community who dug deep to for sick children and their families at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH).

On Friday 15 April 2022, RCH Auxiliaries President Miriam Weisz OAM was joined by fellow Auxiliary and 2021 Madge Tate award winner Raelene Trotter, to present the cheque during the Good Friday Appeal Telethon.

Penny Fowler AM, Chairman of the Good Friday Appeal, also presented the RCH Auxiliaries with a plaque recognising their centenary year and contribution to the Good Friday Appeal.

Auxiliaries have been in partnership with the Good Friday Appeal since its inception, 91 years ago, with the first cheque presentation taking place in the mid 1950’s.
